See through the darkness of night

Designed as a digital replacement for analog image intensifier tubes, SRI’s Night Vision Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (NV-CMOS®) imager in the DomiNite® camera provides exceptional image quality from sunlight to starlight. Its Quad Pixel design delivers both high-definition (HD) crisp resolution and extreme low-light sensitivity for the most demanding night vision applications – and won’t be damaged or degraded when exposed to bright light.

Digital night vision imperatives

SRI's NV-CMOS inside DomiNite embodies the essential characteristics of digital night vision:

Untitled design (7) High near infrared (NIR) QE with response beyond 1064 nm
Untitled design (7) Sub-electron read noise
Untitled design (7) Picoamps of dark current

High Dynamic Range (HDR)

The NV-CMOS Quad Pixel in DomiNite has a special operating mode that increases the dynamic range by more 100X to over 120 dB. A user won't be blinded by headlights or bright flashes, and can additionally see behind the headlights into the depths of the night.

Camera Core

Low SWaP rugged packaging

An integrated-lens cameras at ~1 cubic inch and camera cores weighing less than half an ounce, the DomiNite digital low-light camera has the low Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) necessary for man-portable applications and can be integrated into any night vision system from helmet-mounted goggles, to optical sights, to mini UAV gimbals to unattended ground sensors (UGS).
